I'm kind of shocked. In the first week and a half I have changed my taste by incorporating non-processed foods into every aspect of my diet. In the beginning of all of this I was truly thinking there was NO WAY I could enjoy this food and loathe some of the comfort foods I have grown to eat over the years...call me converted. The changes have been delicious, bringing my wife & I together through fun recipes, eating at home, and great dinner conversation. This week we ordered a pizza...I know it wasn't in the plan but we caved and I regretted it as soon as it arrived. The box was soaked in grease, the pizza didn't even have the flavor the other meals have had, and it confirmed that the changes are positive!
This week and a half I've already lost 4.4 lbs. (just changing my diet). Can't WAIT to incorporate workouts and get that negative poundage climbing (with my weight dropping). Boooo BAM!
Tonight's menu included mushroom and seasoned steak with green beans. PERFECT on a rainy day. I'm also super proud of my wife for losing 1 lb, which is a great start.
